The video installation is composed of ten testimonies from female IDF observers who served in the Gaza sector between 2016 and 2024.

Lavie’s work is not an investigation into the chain of events that led to the October 7th attack. Instead, the piece weaves a web of stories dealing with fate and coincidence, responsibility and guilt, and empathy and friendship on the edge of the abyss.
